Obscure looked over her shoulder curiously when she reached a ledge sticking out. Really? She'd already gone down quite a bit. Her pert dial craned outwards, seeking to see how far she had yet to go. She squealled loudly when some rocks shifted under her tiny hooves causing her to lurch forward before she threw herself backwards against the rock. Her sides were heaving mightily as she fought to calm herself.
Schrei chuckled softly. "Then don't leave. I'll have what I want and won't really care what you do afterwards." He said with a shrug. His ears flickered backwards hearing his daughter's call. His crown turned wondering where she had gone. By the echoes, he figured her to be in his abyss. His eyes flared briefly with an anger as he spun to look for her more clearly. filly.

she snorted and looked at the large brute "so as long as you get to have fun you dont really care what happens to me?" she looked in the direction of the shriek and ignored it "fine, but only becasue i want to have some fun too" she said looking still in the directio of the shriek in which the large brute was turned

Obscure snorted softly as she gasped for her breath. She took in another shaky breath and started to descend down the narrow little path again. This time keeping her optics firmly locked into the ground directly before her hooves and nose.
Schrei chuckled slightly. "Are you saying you can't fend for yourself?" He asked calmly. He moved off at a trot towards his abyss wondering if he had been right. He stopped at the edge as his boa craned over the edge. His sharp optics sought through the gloom and spotted his ebony daughter trekking her way down a little goat path. His ears snapped back and let loose with a bellow of rage. He didn't care if he scared his daughter into falling off the edge. That was his abyss and she thought she could just saunter on through it!

she snorted "thats not what i said, you know nothing about me, you have no idea what i went through when i was little, i would be dead if i didnt know how to fend for my self" at that she turned and walked deeper into the woods coming to a cliff and standing at the edge with what seemed a little voice whispering everything would be better if she would just simply jump.

Obscure squealed loudly in fright. She hadn't been expecting her sire's reaction. At least nothing that serious. Her small hooves faltered on the ground and she plummeted down a few feet before landing on a large ledge. She lay there gasping for her breath. She had almost thought she was going to die like that. She lay there not wanting to move anymore.
Schrei rounded on the mare. "You want hardship?! I can give you hardship!" He screamed and moved placing his head on her rump and threatening to push her right off. "I know what it's like. I murdered my entire herd except for my brother Rette Mich and my sister Durch Den Monsun! I've lived with the souls of my family haunting me! Why the hell do you think I am like I am?!" He yelled forcefully. Hello, the dark king was tormented by his family? Now that was a new twist in his story.

Briar walked slowly. She was tried from having Obscure and she still hadn't slept. When she heard a small cry and then a roar coming from the abyss she started to gallop there. Who would want to hurt her foal? She didn't care if Obscure was getting into trouble or not. When she finally reaced were she had heard the sound she looked around. Schrei was no were in sight and it smelled like anouther mare was nearby. Tipacal, she would get left with the foal. Well atleast she liked Obscure. Looking down she finally saw her filly on a ledge for down. Giving out a loud cry she looked down at her foal. What could hse do? A mare who had just given birth just a while ago?

sh reared and looked at him with fire and hate in her eyes, is this how it would always be? fighting and outraged? she thought to herself. she moved getting his head off of her "push me off, i dont care, this place is worse than being dead. i wont bear your foal and im not going to be inslaved here" , she turned and looked back over the edge before putting one hoof over. would he save her or would he help her and push her the rest of the way off? a silent tear ran down her cheek as many thoughts ran through her mind.

Obscure lifted her head hearing her dam. She neighed out as loud as she could but stayed laying down. She didn't want to risk getting to her hooves quite yet. She didn't want to take another fall down the side. This time who knew what would happen?
Schrei rolled his eyes. "Fine, kill yourself. I told you the only ways your leaving this place is to die bear a foal. It's your choice. Especially since you can leave the foal here and it will be raised by another and you won't have to worry about it. Hell, I'll even be nice and say that it's real mother died so you won't have to worry about it coming after you." He said calmly.

she stepped back and glared at him a moment, she turned and took off into a run through the woods getting as far away from him as she could, she stopped about a half of a mile out and fell to the ground. she rested for a few minutes and got used to her surroundings. her head hurt and thoughts of schrei lingered through it. she came to her feet and looked around for any signs of schrei following her. she sniffed the air frequently not wanting to see him right now. she continued walking to wherever she was going. she came to a small stream and waded out into it needing to cool off. she shuddered when she heard a nearby snort. was it schrei she wondered looking around her.

Briar looked down at Obscure tying to gage the distance between her and her foal. Slowly she started making her way down the abayss towards the ledge far down. She didn't care if Schrei got mad at her for going down, all she wanted to do was help her foal. Slowly, with a lot of rocks falling down, she finally made her way down to Obscure Rose.
"Are you alrigt, dearest?"
She said looking down at her filly.

Obscure lifted her tiny dial hearing the hooves approach her. She looked at her dam curiously wondering how she had managed to get down here when her own tiny hooves barely fitted onto the path. Maybe she had taken a different one? That had to be it. "I'm alright, I think." She whispered quietly, still trying to regain her breath.

Schrei snorted loudly and rolled his eyes as he watched the mare. Whatever really. He didn't care. He'd made his offer and that was that. He looked around scenting Briar Rose. He moved towards her scent curiously in time to see her rump disppeared down his abyss. His ears flattened along his boa in the greatest displeasure. How dare she?! He reared high and screamed loud enough for anyone in his terra to hear before he landed snorting loudly.

she laughed at her self it had only been a rabbit. she continued walking maybe soon even out of his lands and she could go with that other horse, the one whom tryed to save her. she came into a gallop and was headed for the edge of his land at a steady pace.
